Back when mw2 came out I found there were two groups of players playing shooters. The call of duty players and the battlefield players. It seems the respective companies have been trying to poach each other’s fan bases since then and it’s resulted in a lot of the complaints you just stated. I played the campaign of 2019's MW last week and it's been one of my favorites in the entire Call of Duty series. After reading the article, the campaign for the MW2 reboot looks promising. Hope it's just as good as MW2019's. Console players have their cheats as well with the Cronus, you will never get away from players trying to gain an advantage. Mouse and keyboard currently has the most broken movement mechanic and all of Warzone/Call of Duty® history. Honestly though if you turn off cross play, expect your matches to get a lot sweatier. Yeah if the deal hasn't gone through then the older titles definitely won't be, but I seriously believe they will work something out for Modern Warfare 2. Played may have been the wrong word, I did play other cods besides cold war (because it had a lot of bugs at release if I can trust the revues and I never got around buying), I alors have played quite a few hours of modern warfare 2019 but thats allready quite a while ago and I didn't like it that much because dead silence wasn't a perk and you could hear me flank from 5km away.
