The Skoda Superb Estate iV is a very good all-round car. The key selling points are the large amounts of space for occupants and luggage, the fact that you can drive at least 20 miles on zero-tailpipe emission electric power (and then around 500 miles on petrol), and that, at £33,000, it’s a lot of car for the money.
At speed the windnoise is no problem. The engine is also a little more refined sound wise iirc. I'm driving the latest Superb and have been using the latest Octavia as a temp car and yes, Superb is quiter when it comes to external noise. The petrol engines in Octavia are super quiet compared to my diesel though.
Nice car loaded with best-in-class features, but I think the price is on the higher side compared to others.
